Brain Perfusion, Extracranial AVM
Aquilion ONE ViSION
A dynamic 4D CTA DSA and whole brain perfusion was performed. Dynamic Volumetric 3D Volume Rendered and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) demonstrate an extracranial supraorbital arteriovenous malformation (AVM). 3D VR and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) cerebral perfusion maps are also demonstrated.
FIRST, Carotid CTA
Aquilion ONE
Female patient underwent Carotid CT Angiography. The CT scan was performed with SUREExposure and FIRST, Forward projected model-based Iterative Reconstruction SoluTion. FIRST was integrated into the protocol and automatically applied to the scan. This case shows image comparison between Filter Back Projection and FIRST. There is undeniable image quality improvement when showing the stent placed in the right carotid artery and mixed atherosclerotic plaques in the left carotid bifurcation.
